This is actually about a 50 year-old gay man who decides that he isn't happy with his life, after spending so many years of missing out on relationships he decides to do something about it. In time he falls for a guy, and at first the guy doesn't like him back, but eventually that changes. The story does get a bit sidetracked with a young girl who lives in their apartment building who had been abandoned by her parents and the two guys take on a parental role in helping her; which takes up a lot of the story. There are also many subplots going on as well. By the end pretty much everyone either has a happy ending, or it ends on a very promising note for the rest.
