Synopsis

An intense portrait of a group of animals that we demonize and are currently in the process of wiping out. Without cages, Christina films tiger sharks, reef sharks, and hammerhead sharks. She meets people who study sharks, who help them, or who have been injured in encounters with them. "Among Sharks" portrays the animals neither as monsters nor as cuddly pets, but as what they are: fascinating creatures with a central role in the marine ecosystem.
